How to check your Internet Connection
Before sending in a ticket request, here are a few steps to check your computer's internet connection that the IT department would do before any further troubleshooting is needed.
- Check the bottom right-hand corner of your laptop screen on your local computer off of the VDI environment. You will see one of two things depending on your internet connection:
- Ethernet connection: this will look like a computer with an ethernet cable going along the side of it. It is shown below within the circle.
- WiFi connection: this will look like wireless signal bars. It is shown below within the circle.
- If you see you are connected to one of the two connection options, then click on the connection and see if it says that you have an internet connection (shown below within the circles). If your connection says 'No Internet', then contact the IT department for further troubleshooting.
